Questions

Do I need a council permit?

Not if the bin goes on your driveway or yard. On a Brisbane City Council footpath for under 48 hours with 1.2 m of path kept clear, you don't. Longer than that, you need a permit. We lodge it for you at council cost, and it needs about 5 working days.

How does the weight work?

Each bin includes a set weight, shown next to its price. After collection we tip the bin at a weighbridge and you see that weight on your invoice. Over the included weight is charged per 10 kg.

When do I pay?

We text a link to save your card when you book. Nothing is charged until the bin has been tipped. Then you're charged once.

Can I get a bin today?

Usually, if you book before 11am and we have a bin free. No same-day surcharge.

Do you work weekends?

Yes, 7 days, 6am to 6pm. Public holidays by appointment.

How full can I fill it?

Level with the top for general waste. For heavy loads: about 60% on a 4m³, about half on a 6m³. We can't legally carry an overloaded bin.

Can I keep the bin longer?

Yes. $15 a day, up to 7 extra days. Text us before the collection date.

What if I put the wrong thing in a concrete or soil bin?

It's charged as a general waste bin of the same size, plus weight over that bin's included amount. Not sure which bin you need? Ask us when you book.
